A England Saint George

Here is one of my all time favourite polishes! This is A England Saint George, the most amazing teal holo polish I have ever come across!

Saint George is a green leaning teal shot through with scattered holo. This is the most saturated teal polish I have ever come across! It’s just so rich and lux! The holographic aspect isn’t mind-blowingly strong. Rather it is scattered throughout and I think that was a better choice than a linear holo because it looks so luxurious this way!

The application was amazing! Like seriously it was buttery smooth, flowed beautifully AND a one coater! (Although I did two for photographic reasons.) It was thick, but in a good way! Also there was no dragging, no streaking and no bald spots! Dry time was great too! Less than a couple of minutes and its dry! Oh and by the way? No topcoat!! It dries to such a glossy shine that it’s simply not needed.

I wore this for about a week and besides minimal tip wear, it still looked perfect! Also, removal was blissful! And for such a saturated polish, there was no staining what so ever!

As soon as I first saw pictures of Saint George, it seriously stole my heart! Now that I own it, I just can get over how awesome it is!

Sinful Colours Nail Junkie

So Sinful Colours has recently landed in the UK in most larger Boots stores and if you read this post, you'll know that I grabbed myself a few!

One of those was Nail Junkie, which was the first one I was drawn to and doesn't it just describe me perfectly! Haha ;)

I looooove this polish!

Its a gorgeous teal coloured jelly base packed with iridescent, teal and blue micro and hex glitter .

The first coat was quite sheer and patchy and I thought it would take something like 5 coats to make it opaque but after applying a thick-ish second coat it was actually fine and I just added a final thin third coat to add depth.

Due to the jelly base it will never be totally opaque but I like the finish, it makes it look lovely and squishy.

It dries to a ever so slightly textured finish, partly because of the amount of glitter and it looks good left like that but I added a thick layer of topcoat.

FashionistA Mystical Dragon - Swatch and Review

Monday is another one of my best friend's birthday and so today we went to Covent Gardens! There was 7 of us and it was great day out!

I went bag packing yesterday with my cousin and because it was in a supermarket i couldn't really paint my nails while handling other peoples food so i had to paint them this morning. Grr. Me no likey paining my nails in a rush -_-

This is FashionistA Mystical Dragon.

Its basically a whole lotta glass flecks thrown into a beautiful teal base!

This is 3/4 coats. I used four on some nails because my nail line was still really quite visible. To be honest it'll probably take about 20 coats to make this totally opaque but like I've said before with other polishes, you can only tell if you hold your hand up to a light source.

The annoying thing about this is actually to do with the bottle. The square lid separates from the inside lid! I don't know if this is was supposed to be like that or not but its pretty annoying when you need to paint your nails quickly and only remember afterwards that there are two lids to take off. :/

I guess you could say it has a duochrome effect to it because in some lights it is a pretty bold blue and in others it is sparkling sea green, but mostly is sits somewhere between the two. Also, because of the amount of coats I've done, it kind of looks like a foil.

Overall, a totally awesome polish except for the lid(s)
